Jean-Pierre Braganza for label.m

Good stuff and lots of it! Here’s the lowdown on some fine things to see, sip or savour – all of which I’ve recently come across and thought were worth sharing with you. Enjoy.

Jean-Pierre Braganza Limited Edition Sunglasses for label.m.

Fashion designer Jean-Pierre Braganza has teamed up with label.m for a third collaboration. This time to produce a limited edition pair of his/hers sunglasses featuring geometric detailing on its stems and accompanied by its own matching PVC pouch. Snazzy as they are, label.m clients can get a pair for free as an exclusive gift-with-purchase of any two label.m Create or Complete products, from mid May while stocks last.

Black+Blum Eau Good Water Bottle

Last week I got an Eau Good water bottle from Anglo-Swiss designers Black + Blum. It uses a traditional Japanese binchotan charcoal to filter tap water for better taste as fewer chemicals. It looks a little wacky but I love it. Find it and all sorts of other nifty products at the Black + Blum shop located at 2.07 and 2.08, Second Floor Courtyard, Oxo Tower Wharf, Bargehouse Street, SE1 9PH.

Culture Key

This free to download app for iOS devices was recently launched with the “aim of enriching people’s lives” through “beautiful design and an intuitive interface” enabling “Londoners to discover curated exhibitions, art fairs, theatre plays, musicals, classical music and jazz concerts, dance and more.” I’ve been giving this handy and attractively presented app a swipe or two over the past couple of weeks and have found it to be filled with a good assortment of suggestions for making the most of your free in in town.

Fiskars Quantum Bypass Pruner

Now that I’ve got my own back garden (yay), I’ve got to try to maintain it (not-so yay but a great excuse to goof off outside and enjoy this nice weather we’re having). What’s proving to be an especially useful gardening tool is my Quantum Bypass Pruner from Fiskars. Its cork TruGrip handle is easy on the hands and its TruEdge blade technology with precision steel and anti-friction coating adds up to clean cuts when trimming hedges and clearing twigs and stems.
