Lucy Watson Raises Money for PETA with Leetchi.com | #LWfundraiser

Remember my recent series of posts highlighting all the ways Leetchi can help you raise money online? Well, I’m back at it with another quickie team up, this time to spread the word about a campaign started by TV personality and model, Lucy Watson, who’s crowdfunding for PETA.

Lucy’s passion for animal rights is well known. She’s been closely involved in PETA for quite some time. But this is the first time she has proactively fundraised for the charity. In a campaign video filmed in her home, she explains why she wants to get more “hands-on” in the fight against animal cruelty.

Want to get involved? Lucy says “even £1 is generous!” and that she would love it if any and all concerned about animal welfare make a small donation and share her campaign on social media. She asks you use the hashtag #LWfundraiser when sharing. And when you do you’ll be in with a chance to win one of the lipsticks from her Basic Bitch cruelty-free makeup line. On 21 March, three winners will be chosen at random from Twitter and Instagram for the prize.

Here’s the link to the campaign page where you can find out more and  contribute to the cause:

100% of funds raised will go to PETA.

About Leetchi

Leetchi just recently launched in the UK. Founded in 2009 by Céline Lazorthes, it’s already Europe’s leading fundraising site and has been used by six million people to finance a variety of events and projects via Leetchi online money pots.

Most money pots are used for group giving (birthdays, weddings, baby showers etc.), organising events (hen/stag dos, leaving dos) as well as launching personal projects and raising donations for nonprofits. Leetchi’s easy and secure interface allows anyone to create a money pot and invite others to participate with the financing.
