Hungry in Shoreditch? Have a look at this first video instalment for my City Stories collaboration with Point A Hotels.
The clip is dedicated to one of my favourite topics – street food – and features tips on where to chow down on three of the yummiest options (IMHO) for grab-n-go grub near the new Point A Hotel on Paul Street in Shoreditch.
Those delectable options are …
- Gourmet Gorditas – for inexpensive and authentic Northern Mexico cuisine;
- Liberty Cheesesteak Company – for the juiciest, meatiest cheesesteaks this side of South Philly; and
- Pilpel – for crunchy on the outside/fluffy on the inside falafel made fresh with a decades-old secret family recipe.
I’ve been a fan of all three of these traders since each started up, and it was a pleasure getting to shout out about them for this project. Thanks to Pedro and Santiago at Gourmet Gorditas, PJ at Liberty, and Uri and Manu at Pilpel for the allowing us to film.
About Point A Hotels
Point A Hotels is a brand new hotel group, launching six hotels in London and one in Glasgow. The group’s aim is to provide guests with affordable accommodation in super central locations.
The Paul Street hotel certainly fits that bill with loads of awesome things to see and do – and easy access to public transport – right outside its door. Whether you’re booking a room for business or pleasure, Point A does a stellar job offering guests everything they need, and nothing they don’t.
And that’s why I teamed up with Point A to create City Stories, to encourage the hotel’s guests to get out and explore the neighbourhood where they’re staying and experience the best of what’s nearby.
I’ll be back soon with more videos: one about coffee and another about bars and pubs. Until then check out this competition with the chance to win a personalised VIP experience for two in Shoreditch or Glasgow or £500 cash: pointahotels.com/uplift-your-stay.
Point A Hotel London Shoreditch is located at 8-10 Paul Street, EC2A 4JH. Find out more at pointahotels.com.
More City Stories posts coming soon! Thanks.
