Hey folks, I’m still on the side of lunching Londoners and MealPal is still keen to collaborate with me. So …
We’ve rekindled the offer to tikichris readers for a week’s worth of free lunches when they sign up for the MealPal app.
Already a hit in a number of US cities, MealPal launched in London just over a month ago. Through the app, you can reserve quick pickup lunches for less than £5 per meal at a time and place convenient for you.
Since I’ve signed up to MealPal, the app has expanded to include more restaurants across much of Central London, plus Canary Wharf.
My experience using MealPal over the past month has been positive. Process is seamless, and being able to skip the queue to have my lunch usually ready to roll right when I show up feels good. I’ve been able to have lunch with a discount at a few faves and have discovered some new places as well. Using the app is even fun. It’s a little like a game browsing what’s available for the next day. As a MealPal member you get a “kitchen is open” email in the early evening letting you know you can go on the app to reserve your lunch for the next day.
It’s hard to go wrong with a lunch for less than £5 that’s ready to be collected when you want to eat it. If you work in Central London or Canary Wharf and have a short lunch break, tight budget and big appetite, I recommend giving MealPal a shot, especially while this offer for five free lunches is running.
There’s no obligation to carry on or pay anything. If you don’t like the service, simply cancel it.
Offer expires 14 April 2017.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the tip, unfortunately i cant sign as it doesn’t let me choose London if i go via your link.
Just been informed there’s a glitch. Try again when I’ve got an update from MealPal? SORRY!
Hi Tom. Got that glitch worked out. The offer is now live and is actually for five – not two – free lunches! Thanks for your patience.
I was given a leaflet for a free meal this morning but the link doesn’t work (mealpal.co.uk/freelunch104) So disappointed.
Hi Thandi,
Please note that this blog is not a point of contact for MealPal.
Did you try my link, though? mealpal.co.uk/tikichris seems to be working without a hitch giving people five free lunches when they sign up for MealPal.
Hi Chris does the offer work today or did it expire yesterday?
Not sure what time it expires today honestly.
