The Dayrooms Cafe

The Dayrooms Café – an “Aussie inspired café” in Notting Hill – is a pleasant spot for a casual meal and top quality coffee.

I really enjoyed my Dayrooms lunch and the relaxed comfortable setting.

The menu is very breakfast/brunch focused but there are some more lunch-y offerings. During my midday midweek visit, I had Baja prawn corn tacos (two corn tortillas with prawns, slaw, avocado, pineapple, salsa lime crème fraiche and jalapeno sauce, £10.50).

With my tacos, I had an iced coffee (£2.40). The café’s coffee menu features
beans from Ozone coffee roasters. I approved (in fact, I ordered a second). The Dayrooms Café does smoothies and cold blends as well alongside Australian wines, beers and ciders.

I liked the big open windows, the firm but thick cushioned booth seating and minimalist feel. Service was friendly and fairly swift.

If I lived closer to The Dayrooms I reckon I’d drop by quite often.

The Dayrooms Café is located at 212 Kensington Park Road, W11 1NR. Find out more at
