Where to Dine in Dublin

Wondering where to dine in Dublin? You’re in luck! As good of a question as it might be, the answers are all the more excellent and delectable.

Some client-based work had me jetting off to Dublin about a month ago and staying there for the better part of a week. It had been roughly five or six years since my prior – and only other – time in the Irish capital. I was impressed by how much the city seemed to have changed while retaining still what had made such a distinctively fun destination for me that first time around. In particular, food was markedly more delicious than I remembered.

As I usually do when travelling, I kept notes and took photos of the most moreish meals and came to the conclusion that I had enough yummy recs to share in a miniseries about my Dublin dining discovers. Over the next week or so, I’ll post reviews of the restaurants that remain strongest in my memory since my return to London (and subsequent travels to other choice foodie destinations).

Most of the places I’ll be writing about are casual and fairly budget friendly, but there might be one or two that require a bit of splashing out – but not too much.
They’re all centrally located too – not terribly touristy but certainly welcoming to an out of towner dining on his own.
