James Joyce said that he always wrote about Dublin, “because if I can get to the heart of Dublin I can get to the heart of all the cities of the world. In the particular is contained the universal.”

And we all know the way to a city’s heart is through its stomach.

So I hope found some savoury insight or at least some sweet recommendations in my series about dining in the Irish capital.
