New Series on Amazon Prime: The Three Drinkers

The Three Drinkers

The Three Drinkers, a new Amazon Prime travel series, has launched with a four-part season about Scotch whisky.

The “edutainment” style travelogue follows presenting trio Colin Hampden-White, Aidy Smith and Helena “Winebird” Nicklin as they visit distilleries and take in the best of drinking culture across Scotland. Each episode is 30 minutes long. The first three episodes of The Three Drinkers Do Scotch Whisky can be viewed now on Amazon Prime. The fourth will be available in January.

I attended a screening of the first episode followed by a cocktail reception at Moet Hennessy’s offices in Belgravia. I thought the show was fun and informative and that Colin, Aidy and Helena had great chemistry between them. The backdrop of Scotland was easy on the eyes as well. It’s worth checking out, especially if you’re a whisky fan and aim to up your knowledge of the spirit.

I liked the upscale venue and the drinks served during the reception too. The Smoke & Sour cocktail (Ardbeg Ten, citrus, vanilla, Chartreuese, Palo Cortado and foamer) was particularly tasty and potent.

Moet Hennessy UK Offices are located at 18 Grovsvenor Gardens, SW1 ODH.
