Did You Know That … ?

Did you know that it’s legal to buy, sell, and trade cannabis seeds in the UK?

During this time when the legality of pot usage is in question and changing in so many places across the globe, I believe it’s important to share what is legal with respect to cannabis.

Indeed, just recently the mother of a nine-year-old girl with severe epilepsy had her supply of medical cannabis confiscated by customs officials when entering the UK from a trip to the Netherlands where she had secured the life-saving medication that eased the trauma of her daughter’s condition.

So yes,  here in Britain you can purchase marijuana seeds for sale, domestically or from other European countries. There’s a “big but” you need to keep in mind. It is not legal to germinate those seeds. If it is proven that your seeds have been used with the intent to grow or sell marijuana, you could be hit with heavy duty penalties and prosecution.

Owning, buying, selling and trading seeds is okay in UK law – growing those seeds is not. People buying, selling and trading cannabis seeds should make clear their intent and be aware of the law.

The germination of marijuana seeds and growing pot plants is not legal in the UK.

Got it? Good.
