The Kingston branch of Bill’s Restaurant is sporting a fresh new look. Judith Schrut went to check it out.
Bill’s Restaurant in Kingston has just re-opened with a fresh new look. Think colourful décor, vintage trinkets, quirky chandeliers and luxurious velvet seating. The large outdoor terrace with idyllic Thameside views and comfy rattan furnishings has also been enhanced. What hasn’t changed is Bill’s wide ranging, good value menu and welcoming staff.
Bill’s is well known for its breakfasts, weekend brunches and all day menus. Now you can also be tempted by Bill’s Daily Dinner Specials like Black Bean Chili, Slow Roasted Duck Pie or Lamb Shank with Truffle Mash, as well as solid standards like burgers, steaks and salads. There’s a prix fixe dinner option on Sunday to Thursday evenings (£17.50/2 courses, £20.50/3 courses).
And if you’re looking for something to sip while relaxing with friends on the restaurant’s riverside terrace, Bill’s has an extensive bar menu with wine, beer, hot and cold beverages and original cocktails including Bill’s Collins (vodka, rhubarb liqueur, lime, grapefruit bitters, pink lemonade) and Hedgerow Fizz (Wild Sussex elderflower cordial topped with Prosecco).
Bill’s Restaurant, Kingston, is at 2 Riverside Walk, London KT1 1QN. Open daily from 8am to 11 pm. More at bills-website.co.uk.
