Peabodys Coffee, Holborn Viaduct

Looking for a spot to grab a coffee, quick bite, or lunch near Farringdon Station (and not all that far from Chancery Lane, City Thames Link, Barbican, St Paul’s or Black Friars)? Keep Peabodys Coffee on the Holborn Viaduct in mind.

I visited this newly opened cafe recently and found it to be an affordable and comfortable place for decent coffee and food and a great space for doing some OOO work.

I had an iced Americano with a selection of mini pastries. I was temped by the larger portions of pastries and cakes and by the lunch items on offer (fresh pasta, tasty range of sandwiches and more) but already had a lunch date lined up nearby.

Not having more than a small snack with my coffee was one of a few reasons for me to head back though.

I’d be happy to make this cafe a regular pitstop. Wifi had a strong signal. There were plenty of sockets to plug in chargers for laptops and devices. Service was really friendly and fast.

And the coffee was good (Fairtrade Puro blend that also purchases and protects the South American rainforest through The World Land Trust Charity) – which is of course of fundamental importance!

By the way, at the moment Peabodys is running a £1 morning coffee with mini pastry takeaway special that’s exceptionally great value.

Peabodys Coffee is located at 60A Holborn Viaduct, EC1A 2DE, with other locations across England. Find out more at peabodysgroup.co.uk.
