Good stuff and lots of it!

Here’s the low down on some fine things to see, sip, savour and more – all of which I’ve recently come across and thought were worth sharing with you. Enjoy.

Ekster Wallets

Ekster makes slim wallets for the 21 century. I’ve got the brand’s Parliament Wallet (US$79). Features of this attractive and compact bi-fold wallet made with premium Italian leather include quick access pop-up mechanism for easy retrieval of cards, RFID blocking technology. It can store more than 10 cards and has a strap for cash, business cards or similar. For an added price (US$29) the wallet comes with a voice-activated, solar-powered tracker card.

Enjoy Raw Chocolate

Enjoy Raw Chocolate makes minimal-ingredient, organic, vegan chocolates from raw cacao that are free from dairy, soya and gluten, and refined sugar. They’re also yummy. I recently sampled Enjoy’s salted caramels. A sharing box of eight richly flavoursome truffles is priced at £4.99.

Kettle & More

Kettle Chips has launched a range of Kettle & More crisps paired with dried fruit and veg slices. The range includes Kettle & Beetroot Slices with goat’s cheese and caramelised onion seasoning; Kettle & Apple Slices with Norfolk pork sausage seasoning; and Kettle & Sweet Potato Slices with smoked chipotle and creme fraîche. I liked munching all but found the Kettle & Apple Slices offer the tastiest. Available in Sainsbury’s and Tesco nationwide, the 100g sharing bags of the Kettle & More crisps retail at £2.25.

Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Manuka Honey Balm

Thursday Plantation has launched a Tea Tree Manuka Honey Balm. This natural, efficacious balm has a fantastic range of uses and benefits for skincare. Tea tree oil is a naturally sourced antiseptic, while Manuka Honey provides a moist, low pH environment to promote wound healing. It’s a handy product to have for small cuts and scrapes. Look for the balm at Boots with a price of £9.99 for 30g tube.

Wild & Game Burgers and Sausages

Wild & Game – a not-for-profit business with an aim to turn the UK into “a nation of game lovers” – has launched a new range of burgers Just in time for the BBQ season. There are beef and pheasant burgers as well as pheasant and venison patties. I tried – and adored – the succulent and meaty pheasant and venison burgers. Highly recommend! Packs of four 3oz burger patties are priced £4.35.
