Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, also known as the city of brotherly love, is a place everyone should visit. With so many things to do, it makes the perfect vacation spot or getaway trip. There is little to chance you can say you were bored when checking out this city.

Food

If you travel to Philadelphia, you will not be allowed to leave until you have tried the famous cheesesteak. Many across the country have tried to create it, but nothing compares to a downtown Philly cheesesteak. Several places sell them, so best to ask the locals where you should go to get one. The hoagie is another item one should try while there. While commonly known as a sub, Philadelphia’s hoagies are made from fresh bread and meats. After your meal, you’ll need some dessert, and the popular go-to item is water ice. A mix between ice cream and a snow cone, one cannot visit without trying this special treat. There is no shortage of iconic food items in this city.

Philadelphia has a lot it is known for but don’t be fooled. There are still somethings hidden in the shadows that only visitors will discover.
