J&B Rare and Cocktail Porter have teamed up for a limited-edition Seasonal Sours Collection cocktail kit.
Retailing at £41.95 and available via the cocktailporter.co.uk, the kit includes all the ingredients needed to mix six distinctively delicious whisky sour cocktails: two Burnt Pineapple Sours, two Walnut & Cinnamon Sours and two Spiced Apple Sours.
I was sent a kit to review. So far, so wow! I’ve only had a chance to mix the Spiced Apple Sour, but I loved the way it tasted – and how it paired so well with J&B Rare’s bold blend of malt and grain whiskies. I very much am looking forward to having a taste of the other two cocktails. Indeed, I’ll probably enjoy one tonight as soon as I finish writing this post!
J&B Rare is a blend of 42 malt and grain whiskies, including fine Speyside malts like Knockando, Glen Spey, Auchriosk and Strathmill. The blend is aged for an additional three years in cask for fullness and depth of flavour.
