Cicerone, the UK’s leading outdoor activity guidebook publisher, will turn the big five-O in March. To celebrate the milestone, Cicerone has released a commemorative book, Fifty Years of Adventure. Adding to the publisher’s range of more than 400 titles, this hardback limited edition book compiles tales from Cicerone authors illustrated with more than 100 photographs. The book is priced £22.50.
DenTek Whitening Floss Picks with Fluoride Coating
Oral care brand, DenTek, sent me a package of sample products for keeping a clean and healthy smile. I was impressed with the brand’s Whitening Floss Picks with Fluoride Coating (RRP £6 for a pack of 75 picks). Way back at the end of October, I visited London’s first ever organic Champagne fair. Hosted by the Association des Champagnes Biologiques, it featured more than 50 Champagnes made to a high standard and with the utmost respect to their terroir. I enjoyed quaffs from Robert Barbichon (especially the Rosé De Saignée), Éliane Delalot, and Vincent Couche (not only the Champagnes but Couche’s Ratafia de Champagne – a fortified drink similar to Pineau des Charentes). As you stock up for your New Year’s Eve celebrations consider going organic for your midnight pop!
We Are Tea’s Collection of Super Teas
We Are Tea has launched a range of “functional” caffeine-free Super Teas developed in partnership with nutritionist, Amanda Hamilton. The range includes Soothe, Alert, Sleep and Protect, with each being a combination of ingredients selected to give your body and immune system a boost. I’ve been nursing a low grade head cold this week. I think it would have been a lot worse without my regular cups of the Project tea, an infusion of Echinacea, rosehips and elderflower.
