Flexing Vegan | Mooshies London Vegan Burger Bar

Here’s my first Flexing Vegan review. It’s about the burger and fries at Mooshies, a vegan burger joint on Brick Lane. It’s a glowing review too. I really enjoyed my meal!

Passing through Spitalfields recently, I was hankering a burger and an excuse to kickoff my new series about eateries around London with vegan only menus. A quick Google search yielded a very highly rated Mooshies London Vegan Burger Bar at the corner of Brick Lane and Princelet Street. So I was off – but by no means was I put off with my burger!

Mooshies’ What’s Ur Beer? cheeseburger was a fat stack o’ yum. Priced at £8.50, the burger was built round an organic quinoa and black bean patty served on a seeded and kaiser-roll-ish bun with a thick load of melted vegan cheese atop the patty along with a dollop of house burger sauce and generous amounts of caramelised onions, pickled gherkins and lettuce.

I had it with a side of amply portioned and surprisingly tasty fries (£3).

Service was fairly fast and really friendly. The dining area was divey as a burger joint should be. I’d be pleased go back (and probably will). I would confidently take carnivore friends to dine here as well.

Mooshies London Vegan Burger Bar is located at 104 Brick Lane, E1 6RL. Find out more at veganburger.org.

I’ll be back soon with my next Flexing Vegan review.
