Good Stuff #92

Good Stuff #92

Good stuff and lots of it!

Here’s the low down on some fine things to see, sip, savour and more – all of which I’ve recently come across and thought were worth sharing with you. Enjoy.

Pepperwood Organics Tahini

I love everything sesame. So a quality tahini is a cupboard standard for me. Pepperwood Organics Tahini definitely fits the bill. It’s rich and dense in flavour and spreads thick with a creamy texture. Made with ground organic sesame seeds from Ethiopia (and nothing else!), this tahini (aka sesame better) is vegan, and free from gluten, peanuts, dairy and cholesterol. So most everybody can enjoy it. In general, tahini is a great source for dietary fibre, protein, and good fats and loads of vitamins and minerals such as iron, calcium, copper, magnesium, zinc, vitamin B6 and more. Some of these are particularly important for maintaining men’s health and vitality. Hooray for a food I love to eat that’s actually really good for me!

Riso Gallo Curry Risotto

Curry risotto? Curry risotto! Italian rice specialist, Riso Gallo, has launched a new curry flavoured risotto. From the brands My Risotto Perfetto range, it’s super delicious and quick and easy to make. All it takes is 12 minutes to cook. And like every Riso Gallo product that I’ve come across it’s got minimal ingredients that are all-natural. Look for it at Co-op and Nisa shops priced at £1.99 for a 210g packages big enough for two servings.

MP Magic Socks

Supposedly a person can go six days wearing the same pair of antibacterial, odourless MP Magic Socks without having to wash them. You’ll be pleased to read I didn’t subject society to me trying to find out. I did wear a sample pair recently sent to me for an especially long day when I was tramping all over London. They held out better than typical pair of socks might. Thin but firm and snug on my legs, they provided just the right support and without sagging or becoming soggy. MP Magic Socks are keepers! I’m definitely wearing mine on my next big day out and can’t imagine packing a bag for my upcoming travels without throwing these socks in.
