Tuesday 17 September will see the Scotch Egg Challenge return to The Ship in Wandsworth for a third year and first time to team up with humanitarian charity Action Against Hunger with a two and a half day online auction “eggs-travaganza”.
For the event, more than 20 top restaurants and pubs will compete for the prestige of winning by a panel of experts including celebrity chef Gizzi Erskine, Kevin Love (Head Chef at Heston Blumenthal’s Michelin-starred The Hind’s Head) and Stefan Chomka (Deputy Editor of Restaurant magazine). Following the event, The Ship and Action Against Hunger will hold a two and a half day online auction to give ScotchEgg enthusiasts the chance to bid and raise funds for the charity.
