Best London Restaurants – 2013
To say I ate and drank well this year does not begin to describe how delectable 2013 was for me. Both in London and beyond, I had the pleasure of experiencing some of the best meals outside the home I’ve ever eaten. Breakfast at Aqua Shard
Yes of course, the view is the main draw at Aqua Shard, but don’t let that get in the way of enjoying the food and stylish setting. I recently had breakfast there and left feeling nearly as pleased with my full English as I was with this upscale restaurant’s full-on vistas. For a (high) rise ‘n shine that towers over the competition, the newly introduced breakfast menu at Aqua Shard is tops. Continue reading

Sneak Peek of the View from The Shard
The View from The Shard offers a new perspective of the London skyline. I loved looking down on the towers in the City of London on the other side of the Thames as well as how Piccadilly Circus seemed like some weird throbbing glare amidst what otherwise appeared as very historic chunk of town. And I was mesmerized by all the trains slinking in and out of London Bridge Station just underneath. Continue reading
